My very first horse riding lesson

Wow I'm so high up it feels like flying.  We met a nice lady named Mary-Kate who is now my instructor.  It seems that I am finding several activities that I really like that can spend lots of mom and dad's $$$.  I think I like tennis, soccer and now riding the best.  If I focus and pay attention I do very well.  I am also doing pretty well with my home schooling too.  I am reading and doing what mom calls complex addition.  I received one large gift for Christmas:  a RC helicopter , which will take lots of practice to learn.

BEST DAY SO FAR

The best day yet at the beach. This evening we went to Maria's beach between the town center and the Lighthouse. I finally managed to learn how to use my camera's automatic setting so that it can take pictures automatically. That's me and Molly sitting on the beach, Jackie and Alexander swimming in the background. We left when the clouds showed up but did not get rained on. The thing with PR is you see the clouds and you know it's raining somewhere and a lot of time it's litterallly a mile away.and in this case downpour at our house but then the sun came out Yippie.

Here we are back at the Deck that same evening back at our house.
Earlier in the day we had arranged to have this junk tree cut down it was blocking our view terribly.
in typical Puerto Rican fashion 3 guys a boom and no safety harness. they had the tree down in 30 min
Unbelievable all this before my morning coffee..

Here I am I've just earn my self a used Machete "LOOK OUT WORLD"

WE'RE IN PUERTO RICO

5:30 am waking up in luxurious RV  stay to make our way to boston. Forecast pleasant 50 degree with rain.
HERE'S MOLLY cool and relax I could take a few lesson.

15 Hours later as we are about to take off from Boston Airport to New York.
RV to Plane to Puerto Rico in less than 24 hours. It was not easy and near the end some nerves were rattled notably mine, I hadn't  realized until after I pulled Alexander's headphone out of his hands and crumple it up into pieces. I suspect we were probably a little tired.  Our trip down to PR started at 5am driving down to Boston from Gloucester in the rain. We had a multitude of appointments and a checkups to keep and somehow we managed to get it all done. A little stress is puting it mildly luckly for us the rest of the day turn out to be gorgeous. We got to the airport with some help from our friend Richard. Luggage check went smoothly it was either at the 50 pound mark or under by a pound. All went well t'ill I crushed Alexander's headphone then Mom intervene and I all apologize gracefully. Arriving at Aguada just a whiff of the air and I could feel all my stress just melting away.
I was tired and elated at the same time. Alexander commented " it's like someone turn on the thermostat really high." I'm so proud of him stayed awake t'ill midnight and was very helpful when we arrived in Puerto Rico and back asleep in the car.

True to Puerto Rico only drinving to our new home at 6am there was song on the radio it was a wake up song. This song was a mashup of all kinds of sounds like something you might expext from the Lauren and Wally Show except this mix had not only bell and whistles it had turkey sound rooster sound donkey and reindeer it was truly Puerto Rico.

Our 2 days adventure at Acadia during the Government Shutdown

Hi Everyone,   We are here in Acadia National Park on MDI being 'law-breakers'.   The days were so very sunny and bright that we took advantage of the 'shut down' to bike together around the 20mile loop, play fetch with Molly at the beach and soak up the sun.   It would be a difficult bike ride if the park were open as there is much traffic including, but not limited to, BIG tour buses.  We spent three days in the Park and enjoyed every one of them even though it's an hour plus drive from our house.  This was Alexander's first 20 mile ride and he did very well indeed (with a little help from Dad).

Where am I today

I'm too sexy for myself. So sexy it hurts. Alexander wants everyone to know that he has a stuffy nose today. Here"s Alexander on our new deck; well not so new really.  It only took about a year to complete.  You soon realize that people are on a different timeframe when it comes to estimating when a job will be complete..but that's a story for another time. Alexander and I went swimming yesterday at the YMCA  in Ellsworth about 45min. drive. In Medford we used to brag about how everything was about 5miles away "Boston, Arlington,Wakefield" now every thing is about 30 to 45min without the traffic or the people, Ha Ha.
